Differences in health status across populations. Example people in lower social economic groups are more likely to have poorer health.

Health inequity is avoidable inequalities in health between groups of people (populations) within countries or between countries. These arise from inequalities between within or between societies.

Being able to afford private clinics, or pay for drugs

Infant mortality, Risk of maternal death after pregnancy

Difference of mothers education leading to infant mortality, Areas that you live in can affect your life expectancy,

Where you live, education status, work, age

The lower someones socioeconomic position the worse their health is. Meaning that the poor have worse health than the rich.

The higher your status in society the more you can control stress, and less stress means better immune function.

Social or economical determinants allow for more access to resources (medicine, better food, safer environment, and education). By having more control and access to these resources the individual will have less stress.

This is how ones behavior effects their health. This includes things like smoking, diet (good or bad), exercise.

Population strategies for prevention are very radical. Meaning there is a lot of change needed to change the health of a society. There would be many reforms needed ex) changing traditions, changing economics, social reforms.
