For this journal, you will consider the spectrum of long-term care OR end-of-life and death and dying as a part of life. For this journal, you will choose only one of the below topics (A or B) to complete for submission by reflecting on and answering the subsequent questions.
(A) Long-Term Care
- What is long-term care? What types of services are available along the spectrum of long-term-care settings?
- What is an ethical will? What are advanced directives?
- Consider that death and dying are part of life and are not a sign of failure; within the context of health and wellness, and successful aging, what role does long-term care play?
- Lastly, reflect on how your opinions on “successful aging” have changed throughout the course. It may be helpful to reference the discussion in Module One. This final section is your personal reflection. Use specific, relevant examples from your own experiences in relation to aging and wellness.
