DISCUSSION: This is the question I have to answer.
1.If you have a problem that has multiple variables, you can solve it using a system of equations. Think of a real-world example where you would need to solve using a system of equations.
Write two or three sentences describing your example.
Include the equations in your description, but do not solve the system.
These are the 2 responses.
Please NOTE: the red highlighted one is first response and the blue highlighted one is the second respond.
USING SYSTEM OF EQUATIONS TO SOLVE SALARY
2.Salary option 1 is $800 per week plus a 2% commission in sales. Salary option 2 is $600 per week plus a 4% commission in sales. Find the weekly sales level that creates equal salaries.
X1=400+2(x/100)
X2=600+4(x/100
3. Milan has two envelops with money, their sum of $248 and their difference is $42. what is the amount of money in each envelop.
Let M= the amount of money in envelop 1
N= amount of money in envelop 2
The first equation is about the sum(total) of money in both envelop
M+N= $248
The second equation deals with difference
M-N=42
This equation can be solved using all three methods; substitution, elimination and graphing
