GROUP PROJECT
10% of Course Grade
The purpose of this assignment is to encourage you to apply your knowledge of budgeting to
create a complete master budget in excel.
-In the group project folder on moodle you will find an excel file called “Budget_ProjectSummer2023” which contain your group project.
-Your group project is to complete the excel templates on each tab of the project excel file.
-You will complete this project in a group of 5. Your groups are listed in a separate document on
the moodle site. You can divide up the work however you wish for this project. The group
nature of this project is to simulate how these master budgets are done in the real world as they
are often done as part of large groups or teams and this is designed to help reflect that.
-This project is to be completed in the excel file provided. These are to be fully functioning
budgets, meaning they need to have functioning formulas built in where necessary. Everything
must be properly formatted and linked.
-The completed file is to be emailed to me by 11pm MST on the due date. Please use the
following naming convention when naming your file:
Acct2400Summer2023_GroupXY (X= your group number and Y=your section)
When emailing your completed file please include this naming convention in your subject line.
