no meeting was performed.
What are the difficulties you had this month?
Challenges with Vendor Payment Accuracy:
Challenges that I experienced in managing the company’s
payments to vendors were challenging in that I had to
ascertain that all the payments made to the vendors were
made without compromising on accuracy and were made at
an appropriate time. There were also some comparisons that
didn’t tally in the ledgers of the vendors that had to be
adjusted to tally with the total amount.
Monitoring: Issues with Budget Execution Monitoring:
Some of the challenges I faced included poor performance in
monitoring the budgets and reviewing them for execution and
variances. What management found challenging was
identifying the cause of variance from the planned budget
and correcting it.
Difficulty/ Challenge(s)
Overcoming Financial Reporting and Compliance
Requirements
One of the difficulties was maintaining awareness of new
trends in financial reporting and compliance when attending
workshops and attempting to use the newly acquired
information when amending or implementing new processes.
Accuracy in Journal Entry Recording:
Some of the difficulties I experienced were in relation to the
feeds that relate to total cash or total bank, where it is quite
hard to ensure that all the entries are correct. Verification that
all entries were assigned to the correct accounts and also
balanced required much concentration.
How did you overcome these difficulties?
Challenges with Vendor Payment Accuracy:
I had to change my approach to the review of the vendors’
invoices and payments by performing cross checks with the
purchase orders and the receipt. I also formed habits of

regular reconciliation to check for any discrepancies and
parade them right away.
Overcoming Financial Reporting and Compliance
Requirements:
Some of the activities that helped me to gain adequate
knowledge about the trends in the latest financial reporting
standards and compliance include attending workshops and
webinars. I was able to integrate the new knowledge in
improving the reporting standards within our company; also
followed all the paperwork diligently.
Accuracy in Journal Entry Recording:
I developed a checklist and reviewing procedure when
entering the journal entries. I also carried out frequent checks
on journal, as a way to enhance my recording skills and get
advice from other staff members.
What did you learn from completing the tasks
Importance of Accuracy and Attention to Detail:
I found that accuracy is very important when working with
the accounts payable and when entering journals. Accurate
records aid in the reduction of mistakes and promote efficient
records keeping of the organization’s financial data.
Value of Effective Communication:
Learning
I understood the significance of concise communication and
coordination with colleagues and other people involved in the
project. Regardless of whether it involves analyzing the
budget proposals or the manner of supervising the budget
execution, the communication aspect plays a crucial role to
guarantee that all the due processes are understood and
recognized.
Skills in Data Analysis and Reporting:
I substantive my theoretical knowledge in finances, ways of
its analysis and preparation of the report. This skill proves
useful especially in setting of the budgets as well as
monitoring of the progress in the performance of the budget.

Adaptability to Changing Requirements:
I gathered important knowledge about flexibility and the
necessity of the constant updating of the knowledge base to
fit the recent demands concerning financial reporting and
compliance. Workshops and training sessions that I recently
went to also provided me with this knowledge.
Proactive Problem-Solving:
I found that one needs to be proactive when it comes to
seeking out problems like, for instance, the inconsistencies in
vendor payments and in budgets. A proactive approach is
also beneficial when problems are prevented from getting
worse.
Efficiency in Financial Processes:
I was able to discover such efficiency to work with the
financial future and present, for example, payments and the
budgets. This makes the process efficient that also enhances
the total organization and decrease the probability of
mistakes.

according to the various categories of employees.
How many meetings did you attend?
ERP System Training Meeting
I was actively involved in the ERP system training meetings
that specifically dealt with Oracle. Such meetings assisted me
in orienting within the system, working with the financial
information, and requesting/receiving reports and orders.
College of Administration and Finance Sciences
What are the difficulties you had this month?
Financial Management
Complex Budget Formulations: At first, I was having a lot of
difficulties in grasping as well as using the intricate budget
formations. Even for the budget , it was necessary to study
and consult to properly set and meet it along with financial
rules and organizational measures.
Navigating Legal Requirements: One of the challenges in
managing employee benefits included legal compliance on
the aspects regarding deductions and benefits computations.
To meet these regulations, one had to conduct research and
pay a lot of attention on details of such matters.
Difficulty/ Challenge(s)
Knowledge of technical skills in ERP Systems particularly
Oracle.
Learning Curve with Oracle System: At the beginning, the
Oracle system used in procurement and order management
was somewhat incomprehensible. Learning about the
functions and flow of the system needed time coupled with
practice to be efficient at it.
Data Accuracy in ERP: Some tasks were complex; for
example, verifying data correctness in Oracle, especially
when it came to the company’s financial disbursement and
report. This required me to sharpen my data management
techniques so that I minimized on mistakes and
inconsistencies.
Government Platform Utilization
Understanding Etemad Platform: The basic issues involved
the confusion of the user with the platform of Etemad and
utilization of the platform for financial transactions
contended with certain drawbacks and limitations to
understand its operational realties and dynamics. This was
followed by skills in the operation of the features in the
software where one had to learn how to work on it most
likely from scratch.
College of Administration and Finance Sciences
How did you overcome these difficulties?
Financial Management
Complex Budget Formulations: To meet the difficulty of
doing complex formulation of the budget, I devoted more
hours to studying and understanding the nature of every
aspect that is entailed. Credible sources of information lets
me gain more insight I discussed it with others and even
attended some training. Finally, I was in a position to employ
these formulations on my own with the understanding of the
rules and regulations that govern the processes.
Navigating Legal Requirements: Regarding the issues of
the employee benefits and legal demands of the organization,
I also did analyze information and consulted the attorneys in
the company. In order to improve my legal knowledge as
much as possible, I studied the corresponding laws and
regulations, and actively joined the workshops. Thanks to this
preemptive action, I was able to efficiently deal with the
remuneration of the employees and their benefits as required
by the law.
Technical competency with ERP systems and in particular
Oracle
Learning Curve with Oracle System: Firstly, it was
somewhat difficult to orient in the Oracle system. I also set
some time aside for independent studying and received
additional training which was held by the IT department.
While working with the system and consulting other
competent users of the system, I gained the relevant
experience and toured the entire system requirements
gradually to efficiently perform the procurement operations,
order processing and the kind that relate to the financial
management.
Data Accuracy in ERP: In order to build an accurate data in
the Oracle, I introduced a validation check for data input and
I use cross references for data verification. I consulted with
employees in other departments especially the finance section
to review the company’s transactions and the procedures for
preparing financial reports. It helped in reducing mistake and
in turn improved on the ways data was being handled
systematically.
College of Administration and Finance Sciences
Government Platform Utilization
Understanding Etemad Platform: First, the service of the
Etemad platform was not very clear and it took time to find
and figure out the platform. I set aside some time to browse
through it and see for myself its capabilities and functions on
my own. I also reached out to my peer who were more
conversant with the use of the given platform. The common
usage and engaging with tutors allowed me to be rather
proficient in using the platform and confidently perform
financial transactions and service reviews.
What did you learn from completing the tasks
From completing these tasks, I learned:From completing
these tasks, I learned:
Learning
Financial Management: Some of the important question
that arise when implementing the budget include how to
implement high impact and sustainable budgets, how to
control employee benefits and lastly, compliance with the set
