Answer:
I propose to investigate the impact of using artificial intelligence (AI) on the efficiency and accuracy of accounting processes. This topic was chosen as AI can potentially automate and streamline complex accounting processes and reduce errors, improving accuracy and efficiency. AI can be used to quickly analyze large amounts of data, identify patterns, and automatically generate and analyze financial statements (Issa et al., 2016). AI can also be used to detect anomalies in data and flag them for further investigation. The research will focus on the potential benefits of using AI in accounting and the potential risks and challenges associated with its use. Furthermore, the research will assess the potential impact of AI on the accuracy and efficiency of accounting processes.
