Caring Narrative: Patient’s Perspective
Grading Criteria
Student Learning Outcome:
· Analyze Caring, Modeling/Role Modeling, Neuman’s Systems, & Adaptation Theories influencing the holistic/multi-dimensional needs of adult patients with compromised multiple health states in order to promote health and the clinical prevention of disease.
The student will write and describe two personal experiences concerning a patient in the practicum area. Students will submit two caring narratives using the following instructions. The narratives should include a description of the patient situation in less than two pages (not including title and reference page) using complete sentences, correct grammar, and correct APA format.
The caring behaviors discussed will be based on observations of any member of the healthcare team other than yourself or your practicum instructor. DO NOT INCLUDE NAMES.
