Case Study #1 describes the client case according to Person-Centered theory.
Your job is to write a case conceptualize about the client using one of the theories we studied. For Case #1 you may choose from Adlerian, Gestalt, or Cognitive-Behavioral theory.

Case Study #2 describes the client case according to Behavior Therapy.
Your job is to write a case conceptualization about the client using one of the theories we studied. For Case #2 you may choose from Psychoanalytic, Adlerian or Solution-Focused theory.
Use the following outline to write your conceptualization of the client you selected and the process of therapy for the case:
1. Briefly give a summary of the theory you plan to use (1-2 paragraphs).
1. Using the selected theory, explain the ways you will work with the client. What assessments, if any, will you use? What will be the process of therapy?
1. What will your role be as therapist, the role of the client, and the plan/progression for the therapy? What place will the client/therapist relationship play?
1. Discuss specific techniques that you will use in working with the client & why you selected them.
1. According to the theory you chose, what specific outcomes do you hope/expect the client to gain from working with you in accordance to this theory?
1. Do you believe the theory you have chosen will result in a better outcome for your client than the one used in the original case? Why or why not?
