Companies today face a number of challenges when it comes to managing the scope of a project. Controlling and validating are two of the most difficult tasks involved in this process. Companies have to ensure that all the stakeholders are on the same page, that the scope of work is clearly defined, and that all deadlines are met. Furthermore, they must be able to quickly identify any changes in scope or timeline and make adjustments accordingly. In order for a company to successfully manage the scope of a project today, they need to have strong control over resources, effective communication channels with stakeholders, and comprehensive validation processes in place. Control over resources is a fundamental building block that any company should have in place. There are three key components of this process: project management software, communication channels, and organizational structure. The use of project management software provides complete visibility into the progress of a project with advanced reporting capabilities offering easy access to budget estimates, risk evaluations, and resource usage reports. Communication channels include email and phone for internal communications as well as remote working for extended team members. Finally, organizational structure manages the interaction between stakeholders by ensuring all those involved in a project understand their role within the process from beginning to end.

Project scope management is a process of identifying and detailing the complete set of planning and performing of work for a project which includes Planning, managing, monitoring, controlling and closing. All these factors play a major role in a successful project.
Some of the main challenges organizations faces are deadlines and planning errors.
One of the major troubles is Deadlines. This happens due to estimation issues, incorrect estimation time lines makes things hasty and makes management risky and team members face pressure from higher managers and stakeholders to finish the project on time.
It is required for project manager to take updates from team members about the progress of work to estimate the deadlines and to resolve any hiccups faced by team.
Other such challenge companies faces are insufficient project budget. Budget is the main source for any project, with limited resources the desired input sometimes may vary, many clients expect the project managers to create wonders with very limited budget, it is not possible to execute perfect project with little resources and budget.
To avoid this project manager must execute planned project resources with specific decisions like using the particular resources and maintaining cost cutting and planned structure to avoid delays and increasing budget unnecessarily.
