Innovation Podcast
Experts are increasingly using podcasts as a means to share ideas, thoughts, and information with a broad range of individuals. For this assignment, you will create a 5-minute podcast on innovation in public organizations. Format your podcast like a short 5-minute TED Talk where you share information with your audience on the areas described below.
1. Why is innovation important in government?
2. How can innovation be used to improve government organizations?
3. How can organizational culture impact innovation and change in government organizations?
Your podcast must be a minimum of 5 minutes in length and no more than 8 minutes in length. Be sure your narrative is compelling and engaging. Be sure that the information you share is evidence-based. Include a transcript of your podcast that includes at least two scholarly sources to support the information shared in your podcast. One of the sources can be your textbook. Include the link to your podcast recording at the top of your transcript document.
You can use platforms like Zoom to record audio and video of your podcast, or you can simply record your podcast using a device of your choice. The

provides basic recording information for Windows 10 Voice Recorder, QuickTime (Mac), Voice Memos (iPhone), and Audio Recorder (Android phones). The document then walks you through the process of inserting that recording into a Word or Pages document.
Adhere to APA Style when creating citations and references for this assignment. APA formatting, however, is not necessary.
