Assignment Description
For this assignment, you will develop an intervention goal and evaluative measures to address your client or client system problems, and present your recommendation in a PowerPoint presentation. You will review your previous assigned work, including client data, family history, client problems, and environmental considerations, and integrate insights to inform the recommended intervention and evaluation.
Assignment Instructions
Develop an intervention goal and evaluative measures to address the client or client system problems. Then create a PowerPoint presentation that includes the following:
1. Intervention goal.
1. Apply one intervention goal for the client or client system to address a problem.
1. Explain the rationale for the chosen intervention goal.
1. Describe the specific social work practice skills used with the client or client system to develop the intervention goal.
2. Measures to evaluate the intervention plan progress.
2. Describe two measures you will use to evaluate the intervention plan progress. Be sure to explain how progress will be assessed for each measure (for example, direct practice [observations], indirect practice [process recordings, follow-up calls with clients]). Your plan for measuring progress should be clear, detailed, and well-suited to the client or client system, targeted problem, and overall intervention plan.
2. Analyze the strengths and limitations of each measure.
3. Discussion of feedback on the proposed intervention.
3. Obtain and discuss feedback from your site supervisor for the proposed intervention. Be sure to note opportunities for potential improvement.
