The area is clearly separated into learning centers, allowing for optimal organization of space and supplies for kid-friendly use.

This center will also include the writing process posters, writing prompts, graphic organizers, thesaurus, and dictionary. Both math and writing centers are placed close to the window so that students have enough light. The students can use the kidney table for writing activities.
The dramatic play center and music center are close to each other on the other side of the classroom. Both of these centers are quite noisy. Therefore I decided to put them as much father from the reading center as possible. The dramatic play center will include a variety of clothing, fabric, mask and capes, boxes, pursed and luggage, various items such as a camera, sunglasses, wand, etc. I will stock my music center with things such as different instruments, recorder, CD’s, headsets, ad multicultural movement props. The music can be used for the dramatic play center as well.
The science center and art center is placed on the other side next to the book center. My science center will include materials such as test tubes, eye droppers, magnetic wands, goggles, magnifying glasses, color paddles, science lab kit, plastic containers, and collecting tools. The art center will include items such as glue sticks, paint sticks, liquid glue, ink pads and stamps, scissors, crayons, markers, pencils, paper, yarn, trays, tape, paint, cups and paintbrushes, and watercolor paints. My classroom will also have a sensory table situated close to the sink. The sensory table will have many tactile items such as beans, sand, cotton balls, and kinetic sand, aquarium, plastic figures of animals, and seashells.
In conclusion, all of the centers in my classroom will reflect the outgoing seasons, holidays, and lesson topics. I will include the objects, materials, and books that fit the themes. I will not set up a specific number of students that are allowed in the centers. If the center already has a few students, I don’t want to forbid access to it for other students if they want to play there. Instead, I will try my best to create the classroom environment the way where students would be engaged in exploring all centers. I will observe the students and their interests and introduce other activities to the students using their interests so that centers are not crowded.

My math center will include materials such as numbers and counters, measurement tools, operations tools, operation cards, manipulative kits, money, sorting sets, clocks, and calendars. My writing center will include supplies such as paper, pencils, sharpener, colorful pens, scissors, glue, post –its, and erasers. This center will also include the writing process posters, writing prompts, graphic organizers, thesaurus, and dictionary. Both math and writing centers are placed close to the window so that students have enough light. The students can use the kidney table for writing activities.
The dramatic play center and music center are close to each other on the other side of the classroom. Both of these centers are quite noisy. Therefore I decided to put them as much father from the reading center as possible. The dramatic play center will include a variety of clothing, fabric, mask and capes, boxes, pursed and luggage, various items such as a camera, sunglasses, wand, etc. I will stock my music center with things such as different instruments, recorder, CD’s, headsets, ad multicultural movement props. The music can be used for the dramatic play center as well.
The science center and art center is placed on the other side next to the book center. My science center will include materials such as test tubes, eye droppers, magnetic wands, goggles, magnifying glasses, color paddles, science lab kit, plastic containers, and collecting tools. The art center will include items such as glue sticks, paint sticks, liquid glue, ink pads and stamps, scissors, crayons, markers, pencils, paper, yarn, trays, tape, paint, cups and paintbrushes, and watercolor paints. My classroom will also have a sensory table situated close to the sink. The sensory table will have many tactile items such as beans, sand, cotton balls, and kinetic sand, aquarium, plastic figures of animals, and seashells.
In conclusion, all of the centers in my classroom will reflect the outgoing seasons, holidays, and lesson topics. I will include the objects, materials, and books that fit the themes. I will not set up a specific number of students that are allowed in the centers. If the center already has a few students, I don’t want to forbid access to it for other students if they want to play there. Instead, I will try my best to create the classroom environment the way where students would be engaged in exploring all centers. I will observe the students and their interests and introduce other activities to the students using their interests so that centers are not crowded.
