EXAMPLE :
For this module, we were given a piece of fascinating and useful information to read. I want to share my thoughts and plan with you on how I would optimize my professional growth in all five domains.
·
Integrity and ethical conduct
The teachers are the role models. Therefore, we must follow a professional code of integrity and ethical conduct. As a teacher, I want to model strong characteristics such as patience, respect, honesty, fairness, perseverance, responsibility, lawfulness, and unity. I want to treat my students with equality, kindness, and respect, avoiding prejudgment, favoritism, and partiality. As a professional and intentional teacher, I would demonstrate integrity and ethical behavior in the classroom and with parents and coworkers.
·
Receptivity to feedback from colleagues
It is evident that most of us like to hear positive feedback. However, it can be stressful when it comes to hearing constructive feedback that disagrees with your point of view. I would never underestimate the feedback from colleagues as it can bring a lot of benefits to my job. I want to remember that it is always about helping my students; it is not pointing that I am a bad teacher. Others might see important factors that I missed and give ideas on how to improve my work. I would take my time to think through the information and evaluate it. As a teacher, I should be able to receive constructive feedback and be able to learn from it to make the best learning environment for my students.
·
Advocacy
As a teacher, it is important to understand your rights and responsibilities and know how to speak for yourself and my students. Being a teacher means supporting all of my student’s interests and being a voice for those without one.
·
Relationship with colleagues
I believe that it is crucial to building strong bonds with my colleagues when you are a teacher. My coworkers are people who understand my job better than anyone else, and they are the same people as me. Building a good relationship with colleagues will help me stay strong and focused on educating my students effectively. We are all looking for success and improvements for our students. Additionally, collaboration with other professionals who are coordinated with my students may bring better outcomes for my students. Together with other teachers, paraprofessionals, counselors, therapists, and others, we can build a better strategy that will have an effect on the social and academic development of our students.
·
Involvement in culture of professional inquiry
Learning is essential for my work, and I want to continue learning every day and discover new ways and strategies of teaching on how to improve myself as a teacher. A profession of a teacher is a big world, and I want to participate in its culture of a professional community. This way, I can work with my colleagues to share strategies, collaborate, and plan on how to bring my students to success. Participating in the professional community is joint support and respect of all teachers who are looking for ways to improve their practice.

· Hi MIRANDA
Teaching has vitally changed over the years. We all remember our experience as students, and today we can see how things were changed. Different education regulations, tests, practices, and technologies were added to the educational process. I agree with you that we should be able to learn new strategies and adapt them to our students’ needs to be intentional teachers. By self-improving ourselves, we are investing in the future education of a little generation.
· Hi Ronda
I enjoyed reading your post. We all know that we are teaching our students not just content but also a range of skills they need to succeed in society. Participating in high-leverage practices such as social, emotional, and behavior can help create a comfortable and respectful learning environment for the students. It is a strong platform that will help students achieve the goals and stay organized and focused on the learning
